We recognise that environmental management is among the highest of corporate priorities and that it is a key issue in the global move towards sustainable development. Our aim is to establish and develop sound principles based on achievable and measurable goals and to maintain policies, programs and practices for conducting operations in a proactive environmentally sound and sustainable manner
We consider our operatives and management to be the front line of our commitment to our everyday environment. We encourage and reward their commitment to our designs for energy efficiency, sustainability, recycling and labour saving systems. Operatives and supervisors are qualified to various levels of CSCS & NVQ dependant on their role and we continue to promote training and development of all KTD employees. We operate an equal opportunities policy, we have attained CHAS accreditation and we monitor and review our procedures and our onsite process.
The company’s environmental responsibility is vested in all directors of KTD Facades Ltd. Furthermore, we vest in all our employees at all levels within the company and within processing operations the ability to question environment issues if they consider danger is imminent.

Environmental considerations are taken into account in all purchasing decisions. All plant and materials used by the Company, will where practicable be environmentally friendly and considerate of sustainability.
Our Waste Management policy will ensure that responsible measures and controls are in place so as to minimise waste in the first instance and to dispose of waste generated correctly and in compliance with local authority requirements.
To ensure sound environmental management exist, the company builds and strengthens partnerships with external communities including government agencies, environmental groups, other corporations as well as community leaders. Furthermore, the Company’s Safety advisers ‘ProRisk Safety Management Limited’ will, as part of their site safety inspection duties carry out routine environmental audits.
